How to install Visual C++ Redistributable
What is Visual C++ Redistributable and why you need it?
Visual C++ Redistributable Packages install runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries on a computer that does not have Visual C++ installed. The libraries are required to run applications that are developed by using the corresponding version of Visual C++.
How to install?
Microsoft provides the redistributable package as an MSI file. You can download the MSI file from Microsoft's webpage. Search for " latest Visual C++ Redistributable" on the internet and you should be redirected to a Windows website. Here
is the link to the website at the time of writing this article. The webpage looks like the screenshot displayed at the end of the article. Download the appropriate exe file for your target system (eg. vc_redist.x64.exe for 64 bit systems) and install it. That's it. You have the Visual C++ Redistributable installed on the system, enabling you to run/use any 3rd party C++ applications.
